Trending: The Beaded Line

June 13, 2017 Cheryl Kremkow Jewelry Trends 12 Comments

Lines of diamond pave are so last year. Instead, look for the beaded line: spheres of warm yellow and rose gold that add texture and a hint of granulation to minimal geometric designs (and more elaborate maximal statement jewelry.) It’s as if ball chain (sometimes called shot chain) is the new design madeleine. (And, yes, ball chain itself features prominently in many designs too.) This trend means even minimal thread bands look richer and more handcrafted. Here are a few examples that show how designers are signing onto the dotted line.

Yes! I love the entire beaded collection. Those earrings by Kothari & bracelet by Nancy Newberg are my two most loved pieces. Unfortunately, I cannot afford any of these lovely ornaments but they are stunning.
