The sequel to Sex and the City just started filming in New York and the wardrobe is already causing a fashion frenzy.  (We hope the plot involves flashbacks because some eighties-inspired styles would be right at home at a Flashdance theme party.)

The best look of the first day may be a forecast of trends to come.  Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie added chic color to a white Halston Heritage dress with a fabulous angular multicolor Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace.

The statement necklace is back!  But the movie?  Not until May 2010.
